Cantaloupe Milkshake

An interesting contribution, from guest blogger Nutmeg, to quench your thirst...

Prep time: 10 min approx. Serves: 4-5

Kids nowadays hesitate to drink milk. And we all know, a stomach filling milkshake is a good substitute to enrich them with all the nutrition from milk. When you are bored of making apple, pineapple, strawberry milk shakes, try this healthy shake - Cantaloupe milkshake. Here's the recipe to suit your taste



Ingredients:
 1 medium size cantaloupe
1/2 cup of milk
5 cubes of ice
4 tsp of sugar

Method:
1) Cut the cantaloupe into half, take out the seeds and peel the skin of the cantaloupe.
2) Place the sliced fruit, milk and ice cube into the blender. Blend for 2 minutes,till the ice is crushed, then add sugar and blend once again.
3) Pour into tall glass  (can add chocolate syrup to the shake)

Yummy shake is ready to drink
