Corn Masala

A fun snack for those munchy moods from guest contributor Nutmeg...

 An evening or tea time snack, much healthier than junk food.

Prep and cooking time: 5 mins Serves - 2


  1. Sweet Corn – 1 Cup
  2. Chilli powder – a couple of pinches
  3. Coriander powder – a couple of pinches
  4. Ground pepper – 1 pinch
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Butter –  1/2 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves to garnish


1.      Place the corn and 2 tablespoons of water in a microwave safe casserole, cover it.
2.      Cook on a high setting for 2-3 minutes, until it is tender.
3.      Then, mix all the spices and salt with the corn.
4.      Finally, add butter and mix it again. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Spicy corn masala is ready to eat!
